It is such a beautiful thing to be a part of creation. Creating life and creating images. That’s what we did on this hot summer’s afternoon at Seoul Forest Park.
Cristina and her husband contacted me 2 days prior so we didn’t have the opportunity to meet in person before our session.
I got on a train to Seoul, early on a Saturday morning. I arrived a little early and decided to make a run to Namdeamun Camera Street (You can find it by coming out Exit 5 of Hoehyeon Station on subway line 4). I planned on just browsing the stores, but of course I gave in to temptation and ended up walking away with a 135mm F2 lens.
Being excited about my new purchase it was also time to head on over to Seoul Forest (Bundang line), to meet up with Cristina and her husband.
I arrived a little ahead of time and walked around scouting for some possible locations. Since Seoul Forest is a very big park, there was no lack of beautiful spots.
Cristina was amazing in front of the lens with such a relaxed presence.
She was also extremely willing to follow my directions and happily braved the bushes and tall grassy spots – Emanuele being supportive and cautious for mom to be, not to take any missteps.
I got so many favourite shots from this session that it made me fall in love with doing maternity shoots.
